How much Georgia scholarship money could my family receive?

Add the programs that fit your child and compare the total with tuition at the school you're considering. The calculator also checks the 400% poverty line that governs spring Promise entry.

Promise and an SSO scholarship can't be held together, and Promise and GSNS can't either, so the calculator counts the largest one that applies. GSNS and SSO amounts are whatever you enter. Nothing here is an award; Promise eligibility is confirmed by GESA after the window closes.

How much Georgia funding could my family receive?

It depends on which program you qualify for. A Promise student brings up to $6,500 a year, a GSNS award follows your child's IEP and appears in GaDOE's award letter, and an SSO scholarship is whatever the organization offers, up to $15,980 in 2026. The calculator adds what applies and compares it with tuition.

What income counts as 400% of the poverty level for Promise?

Under the 2026 HHS guidelines, 400% is $86,560 for a household of two, $109,280 for three, $132,000 for four and $154,720 for five. GESA checks income against your most recent federal Form 1040 and confirms the figure it uses when you apply.
