Every Georgia four-year-old can attend Pre-K free, at public schools and at private and church providers. Here is how families in the four counties find a seat.

Who can attend Georgia Pre-K for free?

Any Georgia child who turns four by September 1, regardless of family income. The funded day runs 6.5 hours, five days a week, for 180 days.

Where are the private and church Pre-K options?

DECAL's provider search filters by ZIP code. Our directory shows the 170 private schools that report pre-K enrollment, so you can check whether a school you'd keep for kindergarten offers a Georgia Pre-K class.

What covers the hours outside Pre-K?

CAPS can help qualifying working families pay for extended care, as well as care for younger siblings, at participating providers.
