School-Based Tuition Assistance

Need-based aid, sibling and member discounts and payment plans at the school itself, which is usually where the last part of the bill gets settled.

What should you ask an Atlanta private school about its own aid?

Ask three things: whether the school takes Promise, GSNS or SSO money; what you'd owe after that money is applied; and what the school itself offers. Many schools run need-based aid through a third-party application and add sibling, faculty or congregation-member pricing.

Schools set their own aid calendars, and the larger independent schools often decide aid with admission in late winter, so get the forms early.
