Independent & Other Private Schools in Kennesaw & Acworth
7 independent & other private schools in the record for Kennesaw & Acworth; 2 on the 2026-27 Promise list and 4 authorized for GSNS. Northwest Cobb around Kennesaw State, with Christian K-12 schools such as North Cobb Christian and Mt. Paran, St. Catherine of Siena parish school and Chesterton Academy.
Where this comes from. School facts are from the NCES Private School Survey (2023-24, or 2021-22 for schools that didn't respond), matched by name and address to Georgia's 2026-27 Promise Scholarship participating list (approved as of April 23, 2026) and GaDOE's 2026-27 Special Needs Scholarship list (August 2026), retrieved October 28, 2026. Tuition isn't in any of these records, so confirm it with the school.
Funding note: Georgia's scholarship laws don't care whether a school is religious. Accreditation is what decides whether Promise or an SSO can pay it.
