Independent & Other Private Schools in Smyrna, Mableton, Austell & Powder Springs
14 independent & other private schools in the record for Smyrna, Mableton, Austell & Powder Springs; 6 on the 2026-27 Promise list and 5 authorized for GSNS. South Cobb from the Cumberland area out to Powder Springs — Smyrna alone has more than a dozen private schools in the record.
Where this comes from. School facts are from the NCES Private School Survey (2023-24, or 2021-22 for schools that didn't respond), matched by name and address to Georgia's 2026-27 Promise Scholarship participating list (approved as of April 23, 2026) and GaDOE's 2026-27 Special Needs Scholarship list (August 2026), retrieved October 28, 2026. Tuition isn't in any of these records, so confirm it with the school.
Funding note: Georgia's scholarship laws don't care whether a school is religious. Accreditation is what decides whether Promise or an SSO can pay it.
