Funding fit at Davis Academy

Does Davis Academy accept the Georgia Promise Scholarship?

Not for 2026-27, based on the state record. Davis Academy does not appear on GESA's participating school list approved as of April 23, 2026, so Promise funds can't pay its tuition.

Schools could apply in the October 1-31, 2026 window, and new approvals are added to the list. A Promise family could still use the account for approved items outside tuition, or choose a participating school.

Does Davis Academy take the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS)?

Not for 2026-27. Davis Academy isn't on GaDOE's authorized participating list for the Special Needs Scholarship, so a GSNS award can't be used here this year.

There are 153 authorized schools in our directory; the special education hub lists those built around learning differences.

What does the record say about Davis Academy?

The federal record describes Davis Academy as a Jewish school serving grades PK-8: 445 students in the federal survey (2023-24); 50 full-time-equivalent teachers, about 9 students per teacher; coeducational.

Associations it reported to the federal survey: Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools; National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

Can a four-year-old attend Davis Academy through Georgia Pre-K?

Possibly. The school reports pre-K students, and Georgia's lottery-funded Pre-K is free at participating private providers, but the federal record doesn't say whether this school holds a Pre-K contract. Ask, and ask whether the class continues into kindergarten here.
