Does Praise Academy accept the Georgia Promise Scholarship?

Yes. Praise Academy is on the Georgia Education Savings Authority's 2026-27 participating school list, approved as of April 23, 2026, so a student who qualifies for the Promise Scholarship can direct up to $6,500 a year to it.

The state records its accreditation as ACSI (accredited). A participating school may enroll Promise students only in the grades its accreditation covers, so confirm your child's grade with the admissions office.

Does Praise Academy take the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS)?

Yes. Praise Academy is on the Georgia Department of Education's authorized participating list for the 2026-27 Special Needs Scholarship. A student who had an IEP, or a 504 plan for a listed condition, in a Georgia public school last year can bring a GSNS award here.

Authorization lets the school accept the scholarship. It doesn't mean the school provides every service in an IEP, so ask about the specific supports your child uses.

What does the record say about Praise Academy?

The federal record describes Praise Academy as a Christian (non-denominational) school serving grades PK-12: 267 students in the federal survey (2023-24); 32 full-time-equivalent teachers, about 8 students per teacher; coeducational; 69% of its last graduating class went on to a four-year college.

Associations it reported to the federal survey: Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI); Christian Schools International.

Can a four-year-old attend Praise Academy through Georgia Pre-K?

Possibly. The school reports pre-K students, and Georgia's lottery-funded Pre-K is free at participating private providers, but the federal record doesn't say whether this school holds a Pre-K contract. Ask, and ask whether the class continues into kindergarten here.

Can Praise Academy students earn college credit for free?

Yes, through Georgia's Dual Enrollment program, which covers private school juniors and seniors for up to 30 semester hours of approved courses. Ask the counseling office which colleges its students use.
