Last verified: October 2026

Can a Georgia Promise account pay for therapeutic equipment & sensory materials?

Yes, within limits. Special needs and therapeutic equipment and materials, with a parent attestation of a physician's prescription or recommendation and an educational connection; sensory products are a classroom-materials category.

Do GSNS or SSO scholarships cover therapeutic equipment & sensory materials?

No. GSNS pays only tuition and fees at an authorized school, and SSO scholarships are tuition grants, so neither can be spent on therapeutic equipment & sensory materials.
